The Change is Nearby-Original Song Lyrics, by Me

This is an original I wrote after my friend said change is coming soon my friend. It has had a great impact on me. It isn’t always what you are looking for but at the end of the day , change only comes from within.

 VERSE 1

Running, running, running in her head

Change is coming soon he said.

She doesn’t know why but her thoughts — are array.

Her  eyes are wide open, — perhaps confused

Bridge

Feelings of freedom cloud her eyes.

But the change, the change is nearby.

Verse 2

He stood behind her, She could feel him near

He  sat behind her, She could feel him near

HE sat beside Her,  their arms so close.

There is no mistake, eyes wide open, – -Perhaps it’s her soul.

Chorus

Running, running, running in her head

Change is coming soon he said.

Her  eyes are wide open, —–Perhaps confused

Change is nearby, —-change is nearby

 Verse 3

They  stood outside huddled in the cold

She wondered how his arms would feel

Wait! — Stop!

 I can’t get into that.

But I heard  myself  say, “Home.”

I better stop

—–The change has to be close by

—–The change has to be close by

CHORUS

Running, running, running in her head

Change is coming soon he said.

Her  eyes are wide open, —–Perhaps confused

Change is nearby, —-change is nearby

Outro

 The change is nearby,

The change is nearby.

The change is Inside,

The change is inside.

Welcome to my blog. I have been journal writing for years. I took a course in Creative writing and found I enjoy writing short stories and poetry. I write more when I am hypomanic or manic.
I went into Rehab for Alcohol Addictions and have been sober for fourteen years.
Shortly after I quit drinking I was diagnosed with Bipolar 2, I have since been diagnosed with Bipolar 1.
I enjoy talking about my story, for people to learn or relate. I try and have a healthy lifestyle and try to use my coping strategies. Life is just too boring without Bipolar, it is a blessing but yet sometimes a curse.
I am currently working on a book and dream of publishing one day.
I am so excited to have found Wordpress.
This is my new adventure.
