I am on top of the world. I watch my video over and over. Thursday was an incredible night. Only my third time with this group of guys and did my first 3 song set, with no lyrics.

So my background in singing is karaoke as I have mentioned before , many times, open mic became a goal for me and these last two Open Mic nights I did superbly. On Wednesday I actually did a 4 set performance, without lyrics. And nailed it. My views on it anyways. I don’t really nail things. I think I could post a video, but I rather it be even better then the last time.

The music went right through me, keeping me in beat, and I felt the rhythm in my heart and soul. Was the most intense experiences I have had while doing this. It is always cool being able to sing with a band or another individual. But I am just starting to relax and I think that is a big part of it.

” Relax”, the host said the last time. Not in the tone that most people don’t like, it was within a rhythm and I felt positive energy from him. And that is what I did this time. I relaxed, I found the rhythm.

Welcome to my blog. I have been journal writing for years. I took a course in Creative writing and found I enjoy writing short stories and poetry. I write more when I am hypomanic or manic.
I went into Rehab for Alcohol Addictions and have been sober for fourteen years.
Shortly after I quit drinking I was diagnosed with Bipolar 2, I have since been diagnosed with Bipolar 1.
I enjoy talking about my story, for people to learn or relate. I try and have a healthy lifestyle and try to use my coping strategies. Life is just too boring without Bipolar, it is a blessing but yet sometimes a curse.
I am currently working on a book and dream of publishing one day.
I am so excited to have found Wordpress.
This is my new adventure.
