GOod Morning! It Is So Early
Hey there, maybe by the time I finish writing this the sun will be out. Lol.
In reflection of my previous relationship of 10 years , I decided it was time to forget that lifetime. Sure lots of good stuff, but not enough to make me stay. I knew there was one more thing I needed to do. Full closure. So I wrote my last song that is based on that relationship and is my closure. I will share it with you. It is my freedom, it is my, Oh ya, let him go,” Its recognizing my own patterns and how I ‘survive” . This song is about how I let go, how I recognized things as unhealthy and killing my self esteem, and my belief in myself. I hope you enjoy. I have been gradually performing it at open mics with the introduction about it being the last song, closure from a toxic 10 year relationship. SO here it is, “Mask of Intentions”
Mask Of Intentions
She bats her eyes,
And hides a smile behind her hands.
“I sold my car”, she said,
“I can’t possibly drive anymore.”
Autonomy is mine,
One last thing I need you for,
Mask of intentions
She hides a smile behind her hands.
Crippling his inflated ego
He tries again to get a hold,
“What”, she said, “You want to control my Tv?”
“I bet it was you who deleted my porn.”
She bats her eyes
And hides a smile behind her hands,
“Here”, she said, “Take your Tv back,”
“I don’t watch crap like that.”
Manipulative and sly
He has everyone on his side
Ganged up and betrayed
All to make her insane.
“I will do it for you”, He said.
All of it, he did everything, cause I did it wrong
But then one day I heard him say,
“Silly one,” he says, “You won’t understand.”
“It’s too complicated for you.”
She bats her eyes
And hides a smile behind her hands,
“No thanks”, she says,
“I can do it myself.”
“No thanks, I can do it myself.”
Autonomy is mine,
One less thing I need you for,
Mask of intentions
She hides a smile behind her hands
She hides a smile behind her hands.
This is my new original song. I have chords for my guitar and am still working out timing and strumming.
Have a great day. There is a lesson to learn, if you are stuck and need out.

Feistyright?
Welcome to my blog. I have been journal writing for years. I took a course in Creative writing and found I enjoy writing short stories and poetry. I write more when I am hypomanic or manic.
I went into Rehab for Alcohol Addictions and have been sober for
fourteen years.
Shortly after I quit drinking I was diagnosed with Bipolar 2, I have since been diagnosed with Bipolar 1
I enjoy talking about my story, for people to learn or relate. I try and have a healthy lifestyle and try to use my
coping strategies. Life is just too
boring without Bipolar, it is a blessing
but yet sometimes a curse.
I am currently working on a book and dream of publishing one day.
I am so excited to have found Wordpress.
This is my new adventure.
